APPOINTMENT TYPES

New patient Consultation - 30 minutes.

At this appointment there is paperwork to complete, so we request that clients come 15 minutes prior to their appointment time to complete the intake forms. At this appointment the chiropractor will go over the information you have provided with you and may request you have x-rays if it is indicated. The appointment will include a full assessment and treatment, unless treatment is contraindicated.

Regular Adjustment - 15 minutes.

This is an ongoing appointment, for clients where there are no significant changes to their treatment requirements. For those clients returning for ongoing treatment or maintenance care for their wellbeing.

Double Appointment – 30 minutes.

Suitable for those who have new treatment requirements, have had x-rays or scans to be discussed with the chiropractor. Clients who wish to discuss new concerns, ongoing clients who have had an accident or recent physical trauma, or those who have had a change in their health status that will affect their ongoing chiropractic treatment require this appointment type. Those who have not been to the clinic for treatment for more than 12 months will require a double appointment to review their health status, and also those who are wanting craniosacral therapy.

Extended Appointment – 60 minutes.

Suitable for those with complex or multiple issues, clients requiring extra time consideration due to a disability, and those requiring multiple treatment modalities e.g., chiropractic and craniosacral therapy.

N.B. Medicare health treatment plan referrals from General Practitioners/Aboriginal Health Services, MAIB and Workcover clients are also welcome. Please call the Huonville Chiropractic Centre on 03 6264 1037 to make appointments if you are a client from one of these categories.
